WealthRadiant publishes Canadian personal finance content focused on practical investing, ETFs, registered accounts, brokerage comparisons, budgeting, credit, and money decisions. The goal is to help readers make clearer choices with plain-English explanations and useful source links.
Who writes WealthRadiant?
WealthRadiant is written and edited by Callum Melville, founder of WealthRadiant. You can read more on the About page.
How articles are researched
Source standards depend on the topic. For current facts, WealthRadiant prioritizes official and primary sources over summaries from other publishers.
- Tax rules, contribution limits, CPP, OAS, FHSA, TFSA, RRSP, and eligibility rules: CRA and Canada.ca where possible.
- ETF fees, holdings, distribution details, AUM, and product names: ETF provider pages, fund facts, prospectuses, and management reports.
- Brokerage pricing, account features, promotions, transfer fees, and platform rules: official brokerage pricing pages and fee schedules.
- Banking, deposit protection, credit, and consumer rules: CDIC, FCAC, FINTRAC, Mastercard, FICO, Equifax, TransUnion, and other official sources where relevant.
How recommendations are made
Recommendations are based on reader fit. For ETF articles, that usually means fees, holdings, diversification, account fit, tax considerations, liquidity, and simplicity. For brokerage or fintech articles, that usually means fees, account support, currency handling, regulation/protection, ease of use, and who should avoid the product.
WealthRadiant does not present one product as right for everyone. A product can be useful for one reader and a poor fit for another.
Affiliate independence
Some articles include affiliate links. WealthRadiant may earn a commission if a reader signs up or buys through those links. Affiliate relationships do not decide whether a product is included, ranked, or recommended. Affiliate links are disclosed and should use appropriate link attributes such as rel="sponsored nofollow".
For more detail, read the Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure.
Updates and freshness
Financial facts can change. WealthRadiant updates priority articles when fees, contribution limits, product details, tax rules, brokerage pricing, or reader intent changes. Important money pages may include source lists, methodology notes, a data-checked date, and update history.
Corrections
If a reader spots an error, unclear wording, broken source, stale fee, or missing caveat, WealthRadiant reviews it and corrects the article where appropriate. The process is explained in the Corrections Policy.
Use of tools and AI
WealthRadiant may use research tools, spreadsheets, scripts, or AI-assisted workflows to organize data, draft outlines, check links, or improve editing. Final editorial responsibility remains with Callum. Current factual claims should be verified against appropriate sources before publication.
