WealthRadiant is a Canadian personal finance site written by Callum Melville. The site is free to read, and some pages may include affiliate links, referral links, display advertising, or other monetized links.
How WealthRadiant makes money
WealthRadiant may earn money in a few ways:
- Affiliate links: If you click certain links and sign up, open an account, fund an account, or buy a product, WealthRadiant may receive a commission at no extra cost to you.
- Advertising: The site may show display ads or other advertising placements.
- Future sponsorships: If sponsored content is ever published, it should be clearly labelled.
Current affiliate relationships
WealthRadiant currently uses affiliate links where they fit the article and reader intent. Examples may include Questrade links in brokerage, ETF-buying, TFSA/RRSP/FHSA, and investing-fee articles, and KOHO links in budgeting, credit, prepaid-card, or everyday money-management articles.
An affiliate relationship does not mean a product is right for every reader. WealthRadiant may also discuss products or companies that do not have an affiliate relationship with the site.
Editorial independence
Affiliate compensation does not determine the article’s conclusion, ranking, or recommendation. Recommendations should be based on reader fit, fees, product features, account suitability, risks, and current source information.
For example, Questrade can make sense for Canadian DIY investors who want ETF access, registered accounts, CAD/USD flexibility, or a more traditional brokerage platform. That does not make it the best brokerage for every Canadian. KOHO can make sense for budgeting, prepaid-card spending, and certain money-management use cases. That does not make it a traditional bank account or traditional credit card.
How affiliate links are labelled
Affiliate links should be disclosed near the article or link where practical. They should also use appropriate link attributes, usually rel="sponsored nofollow", often with noopener noreferrer when opening in a new tab.
Normal editorial source links, such as links to CRA, Canada.ca, ETF provider pages, brokerage fee schedules, CDIC, FCAC, or official product documentation, are not automatically nofollowed. Those links are used to help readers verify facts.
No personalized advice
WealthRadiant content is general information only. It is not personalized financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. Always verify current fees, tax rules, product details, eligibility, and promotion terms before making a financial decision.
Questions or concerns
If you see a link that appears improperly disclosed or a recommendation that seems too influenced by compensation, please use the contact page.
